5 THINGS TO EXPECT AT OUR ORIENTATION
For the many students who will return to Fernwood this year, orientation is a time of great excitement—and more than likely, a little anxiety about transitioning to a new class. As much as this period can be stressful for returning Fernwood Panthers, it is even more so for new students who will be transitioning to a new school and a new and different environment.
In order to help students and parents overcome this apprehension, we will commence our journey with support and guidance during our 2022-23 School Orientation. Here are some things you can expect:
1. A wealth of information
One of the central purposes of an orientation is to provide new students with information. Most of the information you will be given can also be found elsewhere, on our website.
2. Unfamiliar faces
In addition to learning new information, you will also be meeting many new students, teachers, and staff members
3. Rules and regulations
During orientation, there will be several presentations related to our school's rules and regulations.
4. Classroom visits
Each teacher will is working hard to complete their classroom environment, which you will have an opportunity to explore.
5. Games, activities, food, and fun
We will have different activities and food for all to enjoy!
